Sally Rosenbaum

Women reading is a favorite subject of mine. When I found the work of Sally, I just loved it. She utilizes a generous pallet an impressionistic quality, mixed with mystery.  The mystery of who she is, is obstructed by her hat, and her glance is down cast away from the viewer. She has no interest in us, she is only interested in her book. Another mystery is all about her book, the reality is…she could be reading anything. It is only limited by the imagination of the viewer.

Reading a book while having a cup of coffee in Napa, California. Fresh sunflowers dress the table, the juxtaposition of the blues and yellow evokes memories of France.

Here is the same lady without the table, and the sunflowers. Seems as though she has made significant progress on reading her book. Sally Rosenbaum lives in Napa, California. If you enjoy her art, click on her name.
