“Where the spirit does not work with the hand, there is no art.” Leonardo da Vinci
This is one of his detailed works “The Reception”, which dates from the early 1900’s. This painting is in our living room. Which is a room with no television, a room that we often use to read or converse with each other.
As each guest comes into the room that is filled with lovely architecture, they are also greeted with a room filled with music. The lady is playing the piano, and it looks as though she may have been there for some time with all the music sheets on the floor. The gentleman beside her is playing the violin, and is very focused on the sheet of music.
