“Little drops of water, little grains of sand, Make the mighty ocean, and pleasant land. So the little minutes, humble though they may be, Make the mighty ages of eternity.” Julia Abigail Fletcher Carney
Honestly, I just don’t know where all the time has gone. We’ve been pretty busy at the winery. We have been making changes, adding a garden area, and we just had our first wedding on the grounds. Plus, I have been traveling a lot, trying to get the word out about our winery.
We also have hired new tasting room staff, so that makes me very happy. It’s one less thing my husband and I have to do. I feel so blessed to have a manger that really gets things done, and is really persistent about consistency. We also have a great marketing person too, so it’s really looking like our trajectory is gaining ground.
Our goat recently gave birth to twins, and the female is being left out in the stall. We have to bottle feed her everyday and night. She is so adorable! We named her Belle. The male we named Goofy, had a shoulder injury at birth. We had to give him a shot everyday so the fluid around his join would decrease. He is all better now, and hopping around like nothing ever happened.
So, now I have to be watchful of the days, since my baby is going through her last year of high school. It’s getting real…we are getting older, and so are our children. The days are continuing to disappear, yet we are making the best of every moment.
