Jemima Mobley was bon in 1745 in Broad River, Fairfield, South Carolina. Her parents were William Mobley Sr., born 1725. and her mother was Ann Osborne, born 1723. Jemima has a sister Keziah, born in 1747. She was married to Edward Lovejoy in 1769. The two of them had 8 children. In 1832 Jemima was chosen from a lottery for Cherokee Land, as part of the Georgia Cherokee Land Act in Georgia. She passed away in 1838.
