We recently visited the SLO Railroad Museum. It is a small museum, but packed with information about the railroad. It is a fabulous location. I was drawn to the old signs. Once inside there are exhibits of different aspects of the railroad. One of the exhibts shows what an office would have looked like… Then there are signs from our area…Also brochures of historic destinations by rail…Right outside the museum is Amtrak coming down the tracks. …

When I was younger, my dearest friends jokingly called me “Contessa Grigia”. They would yell “Contessa” from the balcony as I walked to their apartment. They also called me “Ninja Turtle”, since my backpack was full of books. Contessa Grigia is more attractive to me than Ninja Turtle, although Ninja Turtle is pretty funny!
My username became “Contessa Grigia” (Countess Gray), with a chuckle. Now, it is a matter of owning it. LOL!
