Busy, Busy, Busy!

Last week we took a trip to Santa Barbara, where we went to test drive a Panamera, Porsche. My husband has been dreaming of this car for some time. He has deserved to have his dream car, so we ordered a new car. It will be in Santa Barbara sometime in March.

This car will be his Christmas, Birthday, Valentines Day, and St. Patrick’s Day gift. Maybe for a couple of years. He is pretty excited, and the color with the interior is just plain HOT!

We also went to visit Cambria, Ca., just to look around at the scenery. We need to find an Italian Deli here on the Central Coast before Christmas. Christmas time we celebrate Italian style. We have not found the right deli, and hope we don’t have to drive to the Bay Area for our feast.

Since we have only passed Harmony, Ca., we decided to stop there too. The population of the small town is 18. Yep! That is what I said…18. Harmony, is the smallest town in San Luis Obispo county.  Here is a photo of the little post office.

I did not buy a new car for myself, I am starting my own small business. I will keep you posted. The logo is being made, and the website is being developed. It is another new chapter in my life.

Beaming With Pride

Wow! Here is almost midnight, and I have been working on my website for hours. Any breaks in the day, and I have been working on getting HTML to work correctly.

Just when I was about to cuss, and toss my Mac across the room, I finally got it. I got my pretty little button to work. OMG! I could not be more proud of myself.

Geez, sometimes, it is the smallest things…like code. I have a new appreciation for people that do work on HTML all day.

People like my husband. Thank you!!!

This is the time of year we are thankful for all we have, and for all we can share. We spend time cleaning, and get the house ready for entertaining. All of us gather in the kitchen, and reminisce about holidays past. The fun part for me is we have leftovers for a couple of days, and add some variation to each day. Holidays, that are shared with family via any means makes it more special. This year, I will be Face Timing some family members that are new to the Apple world. Ahhh, it sure is funny that we used to watch Star Trek doing things that are doing now.

We are grateful for all we have, that includes our family and friends!

We have three dogs, and sometimes I think they are just like having lifetime toddlers. They are so needy. Now, we live in the country, and we can’t just open the door to allow them to go outside. We have to leash them, then take them out to relieve themselves. We have coyotes that are running around, and even come up to the house to tease the dogs. There are mountain lions sneaking around just waiting for a city girl to allow her four pound dog outside, so the can eat her. So, as much as they irritate me sometimes, I also love the biggies, and Gucci. Here is Sheba, one of the biggies. image
